Ramen Baby

This Illustration is for my daughter. She’s a chip off the ol block. We starting taking her to ramen restaurants around the time she turned 1. Just like her old man she LOVED it. If you ask her today she still says ramen is her favorite food. You can find the original sketch here. You’ll see its pretty loose. I like to get the idea on paper and really refine it in Illustrator. One of my favorite things to do is test out different shapes in the pencils. For example, sketched 2 differnt bow styles and 2 different face shapes on the same body.
